Belinda & Mat’s beautiful Palm Cove Wedding . The Angsana Chapel in Palm Cove is a beautiful glass walled wedding chapel that sits on the coconut palm fringed esplanade at the front of the Angsana Resort Palm Cove.
If you’re considering a Palm Cove beachside chapel then I definitely recommend the Angsana.

Port Douglas Wedding Photography – texture
I’ve been playing around with the idea of adding texture to images, It’s a bit of a fad at the moment. I like the effect but wouldn’t use it for every image. I’m a big believer in clean sharp images with bold but natural color. I think they have more of a timeless quality that dates better. In saying that this textured effect has a fine art painterly quality that when used well and to a couples style, can really make certain images shine. What do you think?
Cairns Wedding Photography – The wedding of Katie & Ross
Yesterday I photographed the wedding of Katie & Ross. Ross is a Cairns local and Katie’s from somewhere in the US? Laid back but not at the sacrifice of a bit of cool Trinity beach wedding style. It’s great what you can do with a swimming pool, knocked up sign , some Bali flags, a guitar, a bunch of family and friends a pristine VW Kombi and the grace of Whitfield house. – Great wedding guys – Congrat’s !!

Palm Cove Ceremony -~- Port Douglas Reception. The Wedding of katie & Ryan
I shot a road trip wedding yesterday. This is when couples have their ceremony in one town and the reception in another. In Katie & Ryan’s case it was a midday wedding ceremony at the Angsana Resort in Palm Cove and then into the super stylin’ monster stretch Chrysler for a stop start Photo shoot along the Cook Highway to get to their wedding reception at the Sea Temple Resort country Club in Port Douglas. We then had an hour to cruise around the golf course on the buggies for some fun shots.
Thanks very much Katie & Ryan this was definitely in my in my top five fun weddings, zero stress+ heaps of great shots – here’s a few

Mission Beach Weddings – The Wedding of Melanie & Gary
I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph Mel & Gary’s wedding in Mission Beach at the fantastic Elandra resort last week. I’d never been to Mission Beach before so I was keen to get down there and have a look around – what a beautiful place! It was a hot sunny day and we got some really great images. I shot from 9:30 am till 11pm, a very long day but a lot of fun. Aside from all of the usual great wedding stuff I got to see the full moon rise over Dunk Island and set in the morning while making my 3 hour Fathers day dash home to the family. Always time for a moon set photo especially when there’s a bit of fog layin’ around.
All of this followed by a day at 4 mile beach with the monsters. Happy Fathers day me

It’s gone green???
The Wedding of Ben & Deb Quigley, double island resort, Palm Cove
Ben & Deb tied the knot on Double island on the 5th of June 2009. For those of you who don’t know Double island is an exclusive island resort just off the coast of Palm Cove just north of Cairns which just happens to be owned by Deb’s uncle.
This was perfect, weather perfect, island perfect, the groom and his men all fun and great mates and the bride and her ladies all lovely and beautiful..Perfect!! I came very close to giving them their money back. Like that’ll ever happen 
A very natural photographic coverage was the brief, and that’s what they got, they had fun and I took photo’s..- Perfect!! A beautiful ceremony and a ROCKIN reception. Here’s some pics. Cheers!!
p.s , My kids loved the wedding cake!!
