Lauren and Nathan were married on Nathan’s parents property ‘Pinevale” in central Victoria. So honest, I loved every minute of it.
95% just documenting the day with about 30 mins for some location portraits divided into 2 separate 15 minute strolls around the grounds. Just perfect.

Bali Hai is an incredible Balinese inspired executive retreat nestled on top of a little rainforest hill 20 mins from Port Douglas. It’s the perfect location for a private wedding and one of few venues that can hold a wedding reception for up around 100 guests. It also happens to be a mecca for beautiful wedding photographs with amazing spots within it’s own grounds as well as other local wedding photography favourites , Newell Beach and Port Douglas near by. This images is from Teagan & Ashley’s Bali Hai Reception. They stood on the edge of the horizon pool to watch their fireworks. I’m a location stalker, there’s a whole bunch of different spots out there that are only ripe at certain times under certain conditions and I’m watchin. This shots only like this for 1 week every year and it’s taken me five years to get this one opportunity to have a proper go at it. How’d I go ? Well I love it, for so many reasons, sure it has it’s faults but thats life right? What a great feeling when you visualise something for such a long time to finally get the chance to see if it works out the way you thought.
