Rex Smeal Park, Port Douglas

I shot some family portraits yesterday down at Rex Smeal Park and they went fantastically, the light was incredible – I’ll show you those later :) In the mean time, how about this view from the point !!! Port Douglas winter weather, tuning it on for the tourists.

Low Isle and Snapper Island. ( Low isle lighthouse is the little white dot 2/3 of the way along the horizon line, Snapper to the left. ) Not sure yet, I think I like it.

Port Douglas Photography – Frogmouth

Check out this cheeky little sucker. It’s a Tawny Frogmouth, which, without the help of google and correct me if I’m wrong, I believe is part of the owl family. Either way its hard to see if your not looking for it. I took this shot while visiting the local wildlife sanctuary with the family. Another shot of the week !!
